On his first drive, Gabriel Gélinas (who knows his way around a racetrack) came out mightily impressed with the ease with which the car can be driven very fast. Thanks to its centrally-mounted engine, six-speed sequential gearbox and double-triangulated suspension with adjustable shock absorbers, the MK5 boasts the DNA of a real racer and build quality that is anything but home-made. With a 250-horsepower Suzuki motorcycle engine powering a car weighing just 545 kg, the performance is astonishing. The annual production of 20 vehicles and a price of approximately $150,000 guarantees exclusivity.
