Here Is The 2016 Lincoln MKX
At the Detroit Auto Show, Lincoln finally unveiled the production version of their new-and-improved 2016 MKX.
This new version will replace the outgoing model, which had been with us since 2007. The base engine will be a 3.7-litre V6 developing 300 horsepower, but the real novelty is the 2.7-litre Ecoboost deploying 330 horsepower and 370 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic is standard, and both engines come with FWD; for a fee, all-wheel drive can be selected.
Inside, customers can select the Revel sound system option; this is the manufacturer’s first foray in the car market. 19 speakers are placed all over the cabin, ensuring a top-quality sound. Speaking of sounds, Lincoln announced that with multiple tweaks to the chassis and suspension, this is the quietest MKX they have ever produced.
