A Recall For The Porsche 918
Porsche doesn't want to take any risks with its most advanced vehicle to date: after organizing a recall on 50 units for a problem in the rear axle discovered by the NHTSA in September, the manufacturer now has to recall the 918 Spyder once again.
According to Porsche, some parts of the chassis don't have the expected quality. While we don't know exactly which parts are problematic, the manufacturer is reassuring: no problems have been reported by customers; they discovered the problem through testing. Their recall is to guarantee the safety of their vehicles for years to come.

Overall, Porsche says that 205 cars will have to be recalled. If you or someone you know own one, it would be a good idea to refrain from driving it on a racetrack until the manufacturer arranges for repairs to be made. It's unclear how long this fix will take, but it will be repaired under warranty.
