More Info On The 2015 Range Rover SVR
Land Rover just released the full specs on its fastest vehicle ever, the Range Rover SVR.
We only had a handful of information up until now: we knew it had 550 horsepower, and we heard it could lap the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 8 minutes 14 seconds. With the full specifications, we now know how it is possible for an SUV to achieve such a feat!

The SVR comes with a modified front bumper featuring larger air intakes, useful for channelling air into the two large intercoolers. The grill is also larger, and the front fenders receive heat extractors for cooling the brakes. Upon closer inspection, we also note the new sideskirts, the huge rear wing, a carbon fiber rear diffuser and a quad exhaust.
Inside, the Range Rover has been fitted with four racing seats, all covered in Oxford leather. Aluminium accents are also featured, although it is possible to replace them with carbon fiber.
To make sure this SUV can back up its sporty looks, it is equipped with a sport-tuned automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system, both calibrated for maximum performance on asphalt. An electronically-activated active rear differential gives the Land Rover optimum traction in the curves.
All this tech translates to impressive numbers: 0-100 takes 4.5 seconds, and top speed is limited to 260 km/h.
How much for this race-ready SUV? In America, it will start at $110,475, a full $17,150 more than the top of the line Range Rover Sport Autobiography… For the average buyer, this is but a small premium to pay in order to sit in the ultimate Range Rover!
