Long Beach Added to the 2015 Formula E Calendar

One of the most advanced racing series of the decade, Formula E has just confirmed that another renowned circuit is now on their 2015 calendar. Drivers from around the world will now have the opportunity to battle it out on the streets of Long Beach, California.

Long Beach is one of the world's most iconic circuits. From 1976 to 1983, Formula 1 raced it as the American Grand Prix. CART also routinely stopped there, and IndyCar is still racing its streets to this day. Special events, such as the All-Star Race and Formula D drifting are also held there.

A few people complain about the noise made during any automotive event. They will be glad to learn about the electric Formula E cars, since these racers are very silent!

The 2015 calendar is full of major city circuits. Beijing, Buenos Aires, Miami, Berlin, London and even Monaco will be visited by the new Formula E.

Many different teams are also ready to line up on the starting grid, like Andretti Racing, Dragon Racing (led by Jay Penske), Super Aguri and Virgin Racing, among others.

This promises to be an exciting series for fans of racing and technology alike!
