Those who actually managed to get one should receive their car later this summer.
As mentioned at the New York Auto Show, all the 25th Anniversary MX-5 editions will be painted metallic red, and will feature a hand-painted dashboard, satin gauges, aluminium pedals and black mirror covers. The car will also offer more performance, with Bilstein shocks, forged pistons and a lighter flywheel.
With a $33,000 price tag, there is no surprise as to why this car sold so quickly. But even if it will almost surely gain value over the years, please don’t tuck yours away in a cold, dark garage. Tthese cars are made to be driven!
