The Mazda MX-5 25th Anniversary Will Arrive Soon
Announced earlier at the New York Auto Show, the Mazda MX-5 25th Anniversary is an important landmark in the history of the small Japanese roadster. Only 100 of them will be sold in Canada, and they are equipped with everything on the option list, plus a few other goodies. We learned today that they will cost around $33,000.
All the special edition cars will be painted a deep shade of metallic red paying tribute to the very first MX-5, launched in 1989. They will also be equipped with every option on the checklist, like the retractable hardtop, leather interior and 17 inch wheels.
They will also feature some unique upgrades: hand-painted dash panels, satin instrument cluster, aluminium pedals, and black mirror covers. On the performance side, the MX-5 is equipped with Bilstein shocks, forged engine internals and a lighter flywheel, allowing the engine to rev faster.
