Even More Juice for the 2015 Ford Mustang
A couple of months ago, Ford unveiled the latest Mustang. With a large selection of engines, from the Ecoboost 4-cylinder to the base-model V6 ranging up to a very efficient 5 liter V8, the new Pony car should be enough to satisfy all the customers looking for performance. Keeping that in mind, Whipple, a brand specializing in supercharging everything and anything, has just finished setting up a supercharger kit for the 2015 Ford Mustang, despite the car not hitting showroom floors for another couple months!
Using a big 2.9 liter supercharger, the Mustang’s Coyote V8 engine goes from a stock 420 HP to an eye-watering 700 horsepower, on pump fuel! Even more impressive, the only modification needed to install the supercharger kit is, well, the supercharger itself. No forged internals, no pump modification… the only other change is a download to the computer, to make it understand that it will now push almost twice the power it was designed for…
The kit is available as a complete package, or installed directly by Whipple, and will be available as soon as the Mustang is on dealer's lots.
