Confusion Over Jeep Renegade Pricing
Jeep appears to have accidentally published pricing for the all-new Jeep Renegade model on its website. If you Google search the term “Jeep Renegade price” it returns a result of $18,595 USD. That result seems to be unintentionally in the public domain as Jeep hasn’t officially announced pricing yet.
We can surmise that this will be for the base model version. Expect mid-twenties pricing for the higher-end models but this would be in line with some of the other players on the Canadian market such as the Kia Soul (starting at $16,995) and Nissan Juke (starting at $19,998).
Unfortunately, it might also be just a mistake. The $18,595 number matches the outgoing Jeep Compass pricing.
Autoblog sought clarification and got a non-committal response from Jeep.
The 2015 Renegade hits Canadian showrooms early next year.
