MTT-136, a Revolution in Offroad Transport, From Quebec
An inventor from Quebec, Yvon Martel, just released a video of his MTT-136, an electric-powered, track-propelled hauler.
His invention is a simple, but brilliant concept: a set of electric motors, different layouts of batteries (giving anything between 45 and 210 km of range), an aluminum chassis and a 136cm track, similar to those found on snowmobiles. The concept weigh 280 pounds, and can drive in snow, over water, and in the mud. Also, you can use it as a mobile battery pack, since there are electrical outlets on it.
The MTT-136 is not on sale right now, but Yvon Martel is actively looking for someone to build it on a large scale. One thing is sure, as soon as it is available, he will sell a lot of them!
