BMW 740Ld xDrive: A Clean, Performing Diesel

BMW will use the Chicago Auto Show to unveil its big 740Ld xDrive sedan which will be sold in North America.

Employing a long wheelbase, the car is powered by a 3.0-litre TwinPower turbo inline six-cylinder diesel engine which develops 255 horsepower and an impressive 413 lb-ft of torque.

It comes with all-wheel drive and receives an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Despite its imposing size, it goes from 0 to 96 km/h in 6.1 seconds.

The BMW 740Ld xDrive will go on sale this summer.
