These Three American Cars Are Doing Exceedingly Well
Many automakers have exhibited strong sales in 2013 in both Canada and the U.S. However these three American-made cars are having an explosive year:
Ford Fusion
Ford Fusion sales were up 13.4% compared to 2012 through the month of July as is on pace to break 300,000 units in 2013. The only other Ford vehicle to break that number is the F-Series. Fusion sales have cut into Toyota Camry sales with the latter showing a decline this year.

Tesla Model S
They are on track to deliver about 21,000 units in 2013 up from 2650 in 2012. Tesla expects Model S sales to nearly double in 2014.
“We really are production constrained, not demand constrained,” said Tesla CEO Elon Musk in a November interview with Bloomberg News. “We are working really hard to improve production.”
Tesla has 8.4 % of the luxury EV market and the Model S was unanimously voted as Motor Trend’s 2013 Car of the Year. It also obtained the highest score ever recorded from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Chevrolet Impala
The newly redesigned model when on sale in dealerships in April 2013 and its success is undeniable with sales of the Impala surging 38% last July. Consumer Reports named the 2014 Impala its top-ranked sedan which is the first time an American car has held the spot in two decades. It also obtained five-star crash-test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
