Audi A5 DTM Champion Edition: 300 Units to be Built
To celebrate its Championship 2013 DTM Series, won by the driver Mike Rockenfeller, Audi has announced a limited 300 unit production DTM Champion Edition of the A5.
Last year, BMW did the same with its M3 DTM Champion model, having won with Quebec driver Bruno Spengler.
The Audi A5 DTM Champion Edition
Although quite similar to the standard model, this variant of the Audi A5 is available in only three exterior colors: Glacier White, Daytona Grey and Misano Red.
Modifications to note:
- DTM logos placed outside and inside the car;
- Color-keyed rear spoiler;
- Aluminum mirrors;
- 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels;
- Interior slightly retouched .
Four engine options
In Europe, the A5 Coupe DTM Champion Edition offers four engines: two petrol and two diesel:
- Four-cylinder 2.0-liter TFSI with 225 horsepower ;
- TDI four-cylinder 2.0-liter 177 horsepower ;
- 3.0-liter V6 TFSI 272 hp ;
- 3.0-liter V6 TDI 245 hp .
All DTM Champion Editions of the Audi A5 have a premium of 1,900 euros ($ 2,700).
