Kia K900

It is already available in South Korea as the K9, and it is considered the flagship of the Korean manufacturer. For the North American market, it was supposed to be called the Quoris but in the end, Kia will call it the K900.

The large luxury sedan designed by Peter Schreyer will face the Audi A8, BMW 7 Series, Jaguar XJ, Lexus LS, Mercedes-Benz S-Class and the Hyundai Equus.

Aesthetically, it has a silhouette which is a mixture between that of the Kia Optima and Cadenza sedans. Like its main rivals, this is a very imposing but it still manages a drag coefficient of only 0.27.

The K900 can easily accommodate five passengers and they benefit from generous clearances and a very comfortable ride.

Although not confirmed, it would be powered by either a V6 or V8 engine:
- 3.8-liter V6 333 horsepower;
- 5.0-liter V8 of 430 horsepower.

An eight-speed automatic transmission is offered as standard. The K900 should be arriving at dealerships in early 2014.
