Many manufacturers who sell vehicles with turbocharged engines do so because by design they are both powerful and economical.
It’s a very successful approach for European manufacturers, including Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz German brands.
To date, the Japanese giant Toyota has been able to resist this wave, but all indications are that it might reconsider its decision and develop turbo engines.
In all likelihood, these are some models of Lexus brand will benefit from this technology.
More specifically, the future compact sedan and the upcoming compact SUV models will likely be the first to receive a turbocharged engine under their hoods.
