2013 Land Rover LR2, more powerful
by Sylvain Raymond
For 2013, the Land Rover LR2 receives some interesting changes. On the looks department, the front grille has been revised, as are the alloy wheel selection and rear taillights. The touch-ups are subtle, but still noticeable. The interior benefits from more in-depth changes, with a simplified instrument panel and the addition of touch-screen interface in the middle that facilitates access to various controls.
Under the hood, the LR2 gets a brand-new engine, the same one found in the Range Rover Evoque: a turbocharged 2.0 litre four cylinder making 240 horsepower, which is more than the previous Volvo-sourced 3.2 litre straight-six developed. This new motor is teamed up with a six-speed automatic transmission.
