2014 Mazda6: Canadian premiere

This midsize sedan from Mazda is one of the most awaited debuts for this year. We can see that the elegant silhouette of the Takeri concept car was kept for the most part. However, the most interesting element of this new generation is that a turbo diesel engine will be made available later this year.  The early production models will be powered by a new SKYACTIV 2.5 litre gasoline  engine, making 184 horsepower.

This Mazda also innovates with its i-ELOOP system, a kinetic energy-recovery system that stores electricity in a supercapacitor and then transfers this energy back to the battery.
