Bentley already revisiting their SUV's design
When Porsche built the Cayenne, it made a lot of luxury automakers sit up and take notice, not because it was the first Porsche SUV, but rather because it was selling like hotcakes. Much maligned by the purist automotive press and heavily criticized as an exercise in badge-engineering, the VW Touareg-based super-utility drove home the point that while Porschephiles might interpret the big 4x4 as a slap in the face, the general public ate it up, however uncouth it might have been.
So, it really shouldn't come as a surprise that fellow VW-owned luxury carmaker Bentley is now considering lighting the fuse on their own sport utility vehicle. However, after debuting the absolutely abhorrent (and uncharacteristically named) EXP 9 F concept at Geneva, it would appear that they're reconsidering. Mocked for its stupidly ugly appearance from absolutely every angle, the car is already undergoing a clean-sheet redesign before it's next iteration is shown again. Thank goodness!
