Cadillac Leaks XTS Before L.A. Debut
It's hard to run the myriad of websites GM claims as their own. Between the various market-specific consumer sites and the innumerable media outlets services they operate, one can understand how they could let something like a lonely picture slip through the cracks... but when that picture is of something as important as Cadillac's long-awaited top-of-the-line sedan, you do have to wonder.
Intended to see its debut at the popular (and fitting) Los Angeles auto show, the production 2013 Cadillac XTS was accidentally shown on GM's consumer website a few days ago, hidden amongst a slide show of upcoming models... at least it was before GM brass realized the error and pulled the image. However, the damage was done, as the picture had already been circulated and redistributed amongst the various online news outlets. Realizing that they'd shut the door long after the gigantic horse was gone, Cadillac has since released an official image of the car, so we can be certain that what's seen here is indeed the production replacement for Cadillac's DTS and STS models.
