Chevrolet Canada embarked on its largest vehicle launch in history adding the all-new Chevrolet Sonic, Orlando and Volt to its lineup.
“This year, Chevrolet celebrates its centennial, and with the addition of the Chevrolet Sonic, Orlando and Volt, Chevy’s lineup is the strongest it’s ever been,” says Kevin Williams, president and managing director, GM Canada. “We challenge Canadians to compare the Sonic, Orlando and Volt against the current segment leaders and we’re confident that they will be pleasantly surprised.”
Visitors to Yonge Dundas Square were treated to an interactive experience, including a free concert by Fitz and the Tantrums, live graffiti art, presentations by Nanny Robina and Erica Ehm, a Laughing Yoga session with Wendy Woods and an interactive packing challenge. All the power required for this celebration is being provided by Bullfrog Power.
For those Canadians not able to participate in person, the Chevrolet celebration is the first Canadian event to be live streamed on the YouTube homepage.
The all-new 2012 Sonic is a small car with a youthful, aggressive design backed by turbocharged performance and agile ride and handling, combining to deliver an efficient, fun-to-drive small car.
The Chevrolet Orlando is a true family vehicle, combining 7-seater practicality and interior flexibility with striking crossover style design.
The Chevrolet Volt is the industry’s first electric vehicle with extended range. Unlike other electric vehicles in the market, the Chevrolet Volt will never leave anyone stranded with a depleted battery.
