Cadillac Looking to Oust BMW 3-Series With Upcoming ATS

Contrary to popular opinion, when you want to build the best sports sedan in the world, you really don’t need to reinvent the wheel. You just need to reinvent a BMW 3-series.
Long known as the standard by which all other sports sedans are measured, the 3-series will apparently heavily influence the upcoming entry-level Cadillac ATS sedan, as Cadillac has reportedly been buying up private stocks of the basic Bavarian sedans to tear them down for research and development. Obviously making their own modifications in order to give the sedan a unique Cadillac flair that the German car isn’t known for (and to avoid any patent infringement issues!), this is promising news for the smallest of Cadillac sedans.
