… apparently a 1969 Aston Martin DB6 Volante. As those that tuned in to watch Prince William of Wales marry his “commoner,” but lovely girlfriend and fiancé (and now Duchess of Cambridge) Kate Middleton will already know, some of the most memorable images from the royal wedding came as the happily married couple sped away aboard Prince Charles’ prized Aston. A gift from the Queen on Charles’ 21st birthday, the DB6 had since been converted to run on alcohol produced from grapes grown at the royal vineyard; an effort undoubtedly undertaken by Charles in his endeavors to remain as environmentally friendly as possible.
