Chrysler Canada Unveils New Ram 1500 Express
Chrysler Canada today unveiled the new 2011 Ram 1500 Express.
The Ram 1500 Express is a new Ram Truck model aimed squarely at first-time buyers and owners who are looking for a vehicle with performance and style that they can customize and make their own.

The new Ram 1500 offers buyers a standard 5.7L HEMI® V8 engine with FuelSaver MDS Technology offering an impressive 390 hp, 407 lb-ft of torque and 28 MPG highway (10.2 L/100km), for the same price as what the competition charges for a V6 with up to 195 less horsepower.
Loaded with Features
In addition to the 5.7-litre HEMI V8 engine with 390 horsepower and 407 lb.-ft. of torque, Ram 1500
Express comes loaded with features that emphasize its high-performance character.
The first thing drivers will notice is the Ram 1500 Express’ clean, monochromatic paint scheme. A
body-coloured grille with black honeycomb inserts, body-coloured front fascia and body-coloured rear
fascia with chrome-tipped dual exhausts shout “high-performance.” The new Ram model will also get
fog lamps and 20-inch aluminum wheels. Ram 1500 Express is proudly positioned as the most affordable truck in Canada with 20-inch wheels.
Other standard features include air conditioning, six-speaker media centre with CD and MP3 player, as well as audio jack input for mobile devices, automatic headlamps, behind-the-seat storage bins, driver and passenger assist handles, power accessory delay variable intermittent windshield wipers, and much more.
Safety features include advanced multistage front air bags, supplemental side-curtain air bags, anti-lock four-wheel disc brakes, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with traction control, Sentry KeyTM theft deterrent system and tire pressure monitoring warning.
Ram 1500 Express is available in Bright Silver Metallic, Bright White, Flame Red, and Mineral
Grey Metallic.
Options for Personalization
Ram 1500 Express is available with a long list of options, allowing Canadians to personalize their new Ram truck inside and out.
Factory-installed exterior options include Class IV hitch, Mopar chrome tubular side-steps, Mopar chrome steel bed rails, folding and heated trailer-tow power mirrors with supplemental signals and courtesy lamps, and spray-in bedliner.
Ram 1500 Express comes as a regular cab, short-bed model, with a choice of 4x2 or 4x4 drivetrain.
